What is Stretch PRO?
Stretch PRO is a flexible advertising fabric made from polyester with added elastane. It is used for applications in which the textile surface needs to conform to the shape of a structure, fit closely around the frame and maintain a neat appearance when tensioned.
Stretch PRO works together with the supporting structure, making it particularly suitable for covers, printed fabric cladding, tension fabric walls and portable display systems. The added elastane helps reduce loose folds, allows the fabric to fit more easily around corners, curves and frames, and supports even tension across the printed graphic.
| Area | Application | Key benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Promotional covers | Covers for cocktail tables, event barriers and display elements | The flexible fabric conforms closely to the structure and helps achieve a neat, tensioned finish without loose folds. |
| Fabric walls and display systems | Tension fabric walls, Stowaway pop-up displays and portable exhibition systems | The fabric stretches evenly across the frame, helping create a consistent printed surface. |
| Custom-made applications | Zippered covers for suspended structures and elements cut to size or shape | Custom production makes it easier to adapt the fabric to unusual structures and non-standard formats. |
What is Stretch PRO used for?
At Labo Print, Stretch PRO is used primarily for textile event, advertising and display applications in which the fabric needs to conform to the shape of a product or supporting structure.
- covers for cocktail tables,
- covers for event barriers,
- tension fabric walls fitted over frames,
- Stowaway pop-up display systems,
- zippered covers for suspended structures,
- printed textile cladding,
- elements cut to specific dimensions,
- elements cut to a custom shape.
Stretch PRO is not limited to producing simple, flat textile surfaces. Its main advantage is its ability to conform to a three-dimensional form, frame or structure. As a result, the printed graphic can perform an advertising, decorative and masking function at the same time.
When should you choose Stretch PRO?
This fabric is worth choosing when the finished product needs to be properly tensioned, closely fitted to its shape and visually appealing after installation. It is particularly suitable for applications in which the way the textile fits around the structure is just as important as the print quality.
It is a good choice when the project requires:
- a flexible fabric adapted to a supporting structure,
- a cover manufactured to a specific size or shape,
- even tension of the printed graphic across a frame,
- concealment of a technical or metal structure,
- a fabric that conforms to corners, curves or irregular elements,
- quick installation at events, trade shows and conferences,
- a portable solution for branded and exhibition spaces.
When a project requires a completely rigid, non-stretch surface, the suitability of Stretch PRO should be discussed with the Labo Print team. In such applications, the supporting structure, dimensions, sewing method and intended fabric tension are just as important as the material itself.
Printing on Stretch PRO
Stretch PRO is printed using dye-sublimation technology at a resolution of 600 dpi. This printing method is commonly used for advertising textiles because the ink becomes integrated with the fabric and the graphic retains an attractive appearance when stretched over a frame.
The fabric is suitable for printing logos, advertising graphics, visual identity elements, sponsor branding and promotional messages. However, the artwork must take into account that the material is flexible and may change slightly when fitted to the structure.
Important graphic elements, including logos, small text, QR codes, fine lines and technical markings, should not be positioned too close to:
- seams and hemmed edges,
- hook-and-loop fasteners and zips,
- fabric edges,
- pole pockets and keder profiles,
- eyelets and reinforced webbing,
- areas exposed to strong tension.
For custom-made applications, the finishing method should be determined before the artwork is prepared. This makes it possible to plan the bleed, safe margins and placement of key graphic elements correctly.
As a fabric for promotional covers
The main applications of Stretch PRO include covers for cocktail tables, event barriers, suspended structures and other display elements. In these products, the fabric performs both an advertising and masking function: it conceals the supporting structure, gives the branded area a consistent appearance and turns a technical surface into a medium for brand communication.
Flexibility is particularly important in covers. Fabric that is too loose may form folds and look untidy, while a rigid material may make it difficult to fit the cover correctly over the structure.
Stretch PRO makes it easier to achieve a close-fitting finish, especially when the cover is manufactured to the exact dimensions of the product. The fabric is particularly well suited to structures with corners, curves, frames and elements that need to be closely wrapped in textile material.
Stretch PRO for tension fabric walls and display systems
Stretch PRO can also be used for tension fabric walls and portable Stowaway pop-up systems. In these applications, the fabric is stretched over a frame, so even tension and correct adjustment of the artwork to the display format are essential.
Its flexible structure helps reduce loose sections of fabric and supports the creation of a smooth, consistent advertising surface. As a result, the wall can display a cohesive graphic, event branding, partner logos or promotional messages.
Quick installation and the ability to fold and reuse the structure are also important in portable display systems. Stretch PRO is suitable for trade show, conference and event applications in which the display is regularly transported, assembled and dismantled.
For custom-sized applications
The fabric can be cut both to specific dimensions and to a defined shape. This makes it possible to produce a textile surface adapted to a non-standard structure, display element or individually designed product.
Stretch PRO finishing options
Depending on the installation method, Stretch PRO can also be finished with:
- hemmed edges,
- reinforced webbing and eyelets,
- a pole pocket,
- keder,
- hemmed edges and hook-and-loop tape.
