PVC-free Frontlight

PVC-free Frontlight

PVC-free Frontlight is a solid polyester fabric coated with resin, designed for printing banners and large-format advertising materials. The material contains no PVC and is available in two weights: 200 and 320 g/m².

Its solid surface provides good graphic legibility and works well in applications where an even reproduction of the design is important. The 200 g/m² version is lighter, while the 320 g/m² version is made from high-strength polyester fabric.

What is PVC-free Frontlight?

PVC-free Frontlight is a banner material made from resin-coated polyester fabric. It contains no PVC, so it can be used in projects whose specification requires this plastic to be excluded.

Unlike perforated PVC-free Mesh, Frontlight has a solid surface. This keeps the graphic continuous across the entire print area, making the material suitable for advertising, signage and display materials.

PVC-free Frontlight is available in two versions:

  • PVC-free Frontlight 200 g/m² – a lighter resin-coated polyester fabric. Suitable for applications where a lower material weight is important.
  • PVC-free Frontlight 320 g/m² – a high-strength resin-coated polyester fabric. The higher weight provides a more substantial structure and suits applications that require a stronger substrate.

What is PVC-free Frontlight used for?

PVC-free Frontlight can be used to produce various advertising and information materials that require a solid printable surface.

Typical applications include:

  • advertising banners,
  • large-format advertising,
  • promotional and information signage,
  • materials for display systems,
  • trade fair and event arrangements,
  • projects requiring a PVC-free material.

The solid surface is particularly useful in projects where the legibility of text, photographs and other graphic elements is important.

When is PVC-free Frontlight worth choosing?

PVC-free Frontlight is worth choosing when a solid banner material is needed and one of the project requirements is the absence of PVC in the substrate.

The 200 g/m² version is worth considering especially when:

  • lower material weight is important,
  • a lightweight material with a solid surface is required,
  • the project requires a PVC-free material.

The 320 g/m² version is suitable when:

  • a more durable material is required,
  • the project needs a more substantial substrate,
  • a higher material weight is beneficial for the type of application,
  • the material must also be PVC-free.

If the print will be exposed to strong wind, PVC-free Mesh may be worth considering. Its perforated structure allows air to pass through and reduces wind pressure on the advertising surface.

What should you consider when designing and ordering?

The choice of material weight should take into account the print size, mounting method and place of display.

When planning the project, pay attention to:

  • final print dimensions,
  • mounting method,
  • requirements of the structure or display system,
  • selecting the material weight appropriate to the application,
  • maintaining safe margins for important design elements,
  • positioning the graphic in relation to finishing and fixing points.

The maximum material width is 3.20 m. For projects exceeding the material width, the production method for the larger format should be planned accordingly.

FAQ

Does PVC-free Frontlight contain PVC?
No. The material supplier confirms that Frontlight contains no PVC.
What is the difference between PVC-free Frontlight 200 g/m² and 320 g/m²?
The main differences are material weight and strength. Frontlight 200 g/m² is the lighter version. The 320 g/m² version is made from high-strength polyester fabric and is suitable where a more substantial substrate is required.
How does PVC-free Frontlight differ from PVC-free Mesh?
Frontlight has a solid surface, while Mesh is perforated. Frontlight is worth choosing when a continuous graphic surface is the priority. Mesh is suitable for large applications exposed to wind because its perforated structure allows air to pass through.
What applications is PVC-free Frontlight intended for?
The material can be used for banners, large-format advertising, display systems and trade fair or event applications, among others.
What printing technology is used for PVC-free Frontlight?
Printing is carried out using UV technology.
What is the maximum material width?
The maximum material width is 3.20 m.
Does “PVC-free” mean that the material is ecological?
No. “PVC-free” describes one specific property of the material – the absence of PVC in its composition. It is not equivalent to describing the product generally as “ecological”.
