Feather flags Long Life – single-sided
Feather flags Long Life – single-sided are durable advertising flag systems for long-term outdoor display. They are designed for brands that need higher resistance than standard feather flags during frequent use, wind exposure and changing weather. The set includes a printed flag and a lightweight mast made of aluminium and fibre glass. Polyester Long Life, sublimation printing and a pole tunnel made from the base material support clear branding in catering areas, sports facilities, trade shows and outdoor sales points.

Feather flags Long Life – single-sided are advertising flag systems developed for intensive outdoor use. They combine a lightweight mast with a reinforced textile flag, making them suitable for locations where branding is displayed for longer periods and must remain readable despite regular handling and weather exposure.
What makes the Long Life version different?
The flag is produced from Polyester Long Life 120 g/m², a textile material with increased tear resistance compared with standard flag polyester. Its dense weave helps extend the product life cycle while maintaining the flexibility required for use in the wind. The material is also resistant to repeated washing and has a B1 fire resistance certificate.
The print is made using dye-sublimation technology. The dye penetrates the fibre structure, which supports colour durability, resistance to abrasion and good readability during outdoor exposure. Although this is a single-sided product, the material provides almost 100% reflection of the graphics on the reverse side, so the motif remains visible from both sides of the flag.
Construction and assembly
- Set content: printed flag and mast.
- Mast construction: aluminium and fibre glass for a balance of lightness and flexibility.
- Material finishing: pole tunnel made of the base material.
- Assembly: folding the mast elements and sliding the flag onto the mast through the fabric tunnel.
Where does it work best?
This system is intended for visible and mobile outdoor branding. It is commonly used in open-air catering, ski slopes, sports centres, tennis courts and trade shows. The Long Life material is a practical choice when the flag will be used frequently, transported between locations or installed for longer promotional periods.
How to choose the variant?
The product is available as a grouped range with Quill, Crest and Feather shapes in sizes S, M, L and XL. The choice depends on the required visibility distance, available installation space and expected height of the display. Smaller formats are suitable for entrances, service points and narrow zones, while L and XL versions provide stronger visibility in open areas and event spaces.
Choosing the right Feather flags Long Life variant
When selecting Feather flags Long Life – single-sided, start with the location and the role of the flag. For wayfinding, entrance marking or compact point-of-sale areas, an S or M size is usually easier to place and handle. For sports venues, ski slopes, trade show zones or open-air catering areas where the message should be seen from a greater distance, L or XL versions increase the visible advertising surface and display height.
The grouped product includes three flag shapes: Quill, Crest and Feather. Each shape is available in S, M, L and XL. The choice of shape is mainly a visual and branding decision, while the size determines the final impact in space. Quill variants offer graphic sizes from 77 x 158 cm to 139 x 360 cm. Crest variants range from 71 x 192 cm to 85.5 x 450 cm. Feather variants range from 71 x 195 cm to 84 x 445 cm.
| Variant group | Available sizes | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Quill | S, M, L, XL | For a dynamic flag shape with a broad print area. |
| Crest | S, M, L, XL | For tall, clear branding in narrow display zones. |
| Feather | S, M, L, XL | For classic outdoor flag visibility at events and venues. |
Practical file and production tips
Prepare the artwork according to the selected shape and size, not only to the general product family. Important logos, contact details and directional information should remain away from the pole tunnel and edges, because these areas may curve around the mast or move in the wind. Large, simple messages work best on moving flags; small text and thin lines may be less readable at a distance.
Because the product is printed on textile with strong show-through, the reverse side displays a mirrored version of the same motif. This is important when using text, arrows or directional symbols. If orientation on both sides is critical, consider whether a different flag solution would be more appropriate.
Mounting and use considerations
The mast is assembled from segments and the flag is mounted by sliding it into the tunnel made of the base material. This makes the system easy to transport, store and install without complex tools. The correct base should be selected according to the installation surface, such as hard ground, soft ground or indoor trade show flooring. The base is a key element for stability, especially in exposed outdoor locations.
Terminology used by customers
On the market, Feather flags Long Life – single-sided may also be referred to as beach flags, advertising flags, feather banners or outdoor promotional flags. These terms describe similar mobile display systems, but in this product the main distinction is the Long Life material designed for more intensive and longer outdoor exposure.
